
The name Stoich comes from the word "stoichiometric" which is a word used in chemistry, to describe quantitative relationships between elements and compounds in chemical reactions, specifically the ideal amount of everything to create a balance in order for something to work efficiently. The comparison to making decisions in the automotive industry, for example; a simple vehicle purchase. Not every salesperson is out to sell you the car for you, they may just be there to make sure they beat the numbers from the previous month. Sometimes second opinions, especially experienced ones, can cost you from making a decision you may end up not being fully confident in.
Following suit to procedures used as a mechanic, the goal is always to understand what the customer has in mind first.
Understanding the goal of the customer isn't always enough. Once the goal is understood, it must be reevaluated and verified with the customer to make sure everyone is on the same page.
